I attended Luther Burbank Junior High School from 1956 until promotion to John Burroughs High School in 1960.
My best friend, Gardy Bus, and I would ride our bikes to school about 1.4 miles.
I remember placing pennies on the railroad track we had to cross in the morning and picking them up flattened on our way home.
I also remember stopping at the bowling alley on the way home and learning to bowl.
